The List #0127: Drive a parade float

Jessi And Patrick Head To The Parade Of Roses In Pasadena

The List hosts Jessi and Patrick go behind the scenes at the Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, CA, to see how the famous Rose Parade floats are built and to get a turn behind the wheel.

"The floats are massive and audacious, but they're still vehicles," said Patrick. "Underneath each one is a driver and I wanted the chance to be one of those drivers." While Patrick heads to Burbank, CA to test drive the Burbank Tournament of Roses float, Jessi has a different mission in mind at Fiesta Parade Floats in Irwindale, CA.

"I'm actually more interested in the construction of [the floats]," said Jessi. "What are the chassis like, what engine drives them, and how do they keep all those flowers on the float?"

Come along as Jessi and Patrick fulfill the theme of this year's Rose Parade, Find Your Adventure, and check "drive a parade float" off of their list.
