Man On Speeding Truck Hood Cries For Help

A roadside altercation left this man clinging for life

If you take the law into your own hands, you may end up with more than you bargained for. A Baton Rouge, La. man pleaded for help as he clung to the hood of a moving truck after an altercation with a vigilant citizen. Police Cpl. Tommy Stubbs told WBRZ 2 the man on the hood was selling shrimp on the side of the road when the truck driver stopped and picked up his sign.

The shrimp seller's sign was illegally placed, according to a city ordinance that prevents signs from places where the public has the right of way. But dealing with the matter gave this driver more trouble than it was worth. The shrimp salesman jumped on the truck to prevent the driver from leaving. The driver drove the truck and his new hood ornament to a nearby police station. No one was charged in the incident.

Disgruntled drivers heading into traffic with people on their hoods is nothing new. This man in Georgia was recently filmed holding on to a woman's hood after she hit his wife's car and tried to run.
