If you're a Cadillac-loving Mac-o-file counting down the days until you can get your hands on the new iPad, we've got incredible news for you. The marketing folks at the Wreath and Crest have collaborated with Cool Hunting to build a CTS Coupe iPad app. The new application will, for 12 weeks, underscore the CTS Coupe's design and performance, along with "unique content" designed to draw fans of Cadillac's two-door art project.

Josh Rubin, founder and Editor-in-Chief of Cool Hunting, calls the CTS a "muse for our design and technology stories," adding "we're excited that our relationship with Cadillac enabled new opportunities for our readers to engage with our content while pushing the innovative ways we work with brands."

As you can see from the image above (click for high-resolution pic), CTS Coupe info dominates the Cool Hunting homepage, with Cool Hunting content taking up the bottom half of the page. Bartle Bogle & Hegarty New York, Cadillac's new marketing agency of record, worked with Cool Hunting to create the app. Hit the jump to read over the Cadillac press release.

NEW YORK – Today, Cadillac and Cool Hunting announced the launch of Cool Hunting's application for the upcoming Apple iPad. The application features exclusive content designed for the iPad inspired by the all-new 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe.

Available starting April 3 in Apple's App Store, the free Cool Hunting iPad app features content optimized for the device, sponsored by Cadillac. For the next twelve weeks the app will also include exclusive Cool Hunting coverage inspired by the CTS Coupe's dramatic design and performance, as well as unique content on Cadillac's new luxury sports car.

"The Cadillac CTS Coupe serves as muse for our design and technology stories." says Josh Rubin, founder and Editor-in-Chief of Cool Hunting. "We're always looking for ways to inspire our audience -- both with the content we create and the way we deliver it. We're excited that our relationship with Cadillac enabled new opportunities for our readers to engage with our content while pushing the innovative ways we work with brands."

Cadillac's new 2011 CTS Coupe launches this summer as a dramatic new option for luxury and sports car enthusiasts. The sleek new coupe includes a 304-hp Direct Injection engine that reduces emissions, backing a design that is the most dynamic expression of Cadillac's Art & Science philosophy.

Cool Hunting is a daily update on ideas and products in the intersection of art, design, culture and technology, including inside looks at the people who create them.

"CTS Coupe is designed to capture the imagination of a new generation of luxury and sports car buyers," said Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac marketing. "We're pleased that the car inspires this type of innovative content, reaching leading edge consumers."

The launch of Cool Hunting's iPad app is an initial element of Cadillac's new partnership with Bartle Bogle & Hegarty New York, Cadillac's agency of record. The program was created in partnership with Largetail (largetail.com), Cool Hunting's ad network, and developed by Front-Ended (front-ended.com)
