“Ultimate Overland Vehicle.” The Overland Expo is the event celebrating “adventure travel enthusiasts.” At this year’s event Overland Expo revealed its vision for the ultimate overland vehicle. Based on the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X. The modified pickup truck is a collaboration between 21 exhibitors and brand partners. Overland Expo chose the Sierra 1500 AT4X because of its 6.2-liter V8 engine, 4-wheel drive, and suspension dampers. The truck bed was removed and fitted with a “6.4 ft tray with 3 ft canopy” from MITS. It also features an 8-gallon water tank, storage bins, solar panels, fridge, ground tent, and much more. The modified Ultimate Overland Vehicle will appear at all 4 Overland Expo Events, and will tackle iconic trails throughout the year.
