Overview

The Hyundai Genesis sedan is designed to offer the luxury appointments of much more expensive cars, for less. The Genesis sedan can be had with a 311-hp 3.8-liter V6 or a 420-hp 5.0-liter V8. Both engines send power to the wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission with manual sequential shift capability. Genesis now offers available all-wheel drive (V6 only). Mechanical safety features include traction control, stability control, and panic brake assist. The interior features a full complement of airbags, active front headrests that provide whiplash protection, and a tire pressure monitor. Luxurious power heated leather seats, automatic dual-zone climate control and woodgrain trim are just some of the appointments this car offers that are typically only found in vehicles costing much more. The 3.8 Genesis gains standard high intensity discharge (HID) headlights for 2016.
