Overview

The Regal is Buick's mid-size sport sedan, featuring sleek, aggressive styling, a high level of standard equipment, and impressive attention to detail. It seats five passengers in comfort, while providing responsive handling and a dynamic, yet refined, ride. The Regal is available in front- or all-wheel drive, with four cylinder engines that include a 259-hp 2.0-liter turbo, a 182-hp 2.4-liter ECOTEC, and a 182-hp 2.4-liter with the eAssist mild hybrid system. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, while a conventional six-speed manual is optional on only the GS FWD. Every Regal is outfitted with aluminum wheels, leather upholstery, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, satellite radio, MP3 capability, 2 USB ports and Bluetooth wireless phone connectivity/audio streaming; mobile hotspot internet access is also provided, compliments of the OnStar 4G LTE network. Additional trim-dependent standard and optional equipment includes a power sunroof, Bi-Xenon adaptive headlights, passive entry/start, garage door opener, upgraded audio and a navigation system. The GS model gets an exclusive treatment that includes a GS-specific grille and front/rear fascia treatments, an adaptive performance-tuned suspension with Interactive Drive Control, 19-inch aluminum wheels, sport seats and piano black interior trim accents. Standard safety features on all Regals include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, electronic stability and traction control systems, OnStar and a tire pressure monitor, as well as six airbags. The Buick Regal carries over with minimal changes for 2016.
