Overview

The Expedition is Ford's largest utility vehicle and can easily compete for the most space while accommodating eight passengers. When equipped with four-wheel drive, the Expedition can get you there whether the road is dry, wet, snowy, or even when there's hardly any road at all. For 2015 the Expedition is available in five trims: XL, XLT, Limited, King Ranch and a new Platinum trim. All are powered by a new 370-hp 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with either rear-wheel drive or electronically engaged four-wheel drive. A Class IV trailer hitch and trailer sway control are standard and give the Expedition towing capacities in the 6000-pound range. Safety equipment includes six airbags, anti-lock braking, and electronic stability control with anti-rollover technology. Some available features include a 12 speaker Sony audio system, BLIS Blind Spot Information System, LED foglamps and a power liftgate. The 2015 Ford Expedition has a new front fascia as well as a new engine and several new features available across the lineup, which now includes the new Platinum trim.
