Overview

The Toyota RAV4 is one of the compact SUVs that created this class. It has become bigger in recent years and provides more outstanding features that allow it to be a more reliable family vehicle. The RAV4 seats five and has an available third-row seat (that folds flat into the cargo floor) that increases its capacity to seven. The RAV4 is a four-door, compact sport utility vehicle, available in three trim levels: base, Sport and Limited. For those prices you get front-wheel drive, a 2.4-liter, 166-horsepower inline-4 and a four-speed automatic transmission. Each different model adds more features. All three trim levels are available with a 3.5-liter, 269-horsepower V6 and five-speed automatic transmission. All V6 RAV4's come with Downhill Assist Control and Hill-start Assist Control. Any of the six models is available with full-time all-wheel drive. For 2007, the Toyota RAV4 receives driver and front-passenger seat-mounted, side-impact airbags and side-curtain airbags for first and second-row seats.
