Overview

The Jaguar X-Type is elegant, comfortable, and fun to drive. It represents a low cost entry choice for a Jaguar and a strong value in this highly competitive class. The Jaguar X-Type comes in a sedan or sportwagon. It has standard all-wheel drive, 16-inch alloy wheels, anti-lock brakes, and dynamic stability control. It seats five people in its Connolly leather interior with wood veneer or carbon-fiber trim. It is powered by a 227 hp 3.0-liter V-6 that is controlled by a five-speed automatic transmission. The sportwagon differs from the sedan because it has different rear doors and a unique roof. Its rear window can be opened and a moonroof is standard. For 2007, the Jaguar X-type receives stability control, a moonroof and for the wagon a rear park assist.
