2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor LS All-Wheel Drive
Autoblog Smart Buy Program
Overview
The Endeavor is a midsize sport utility that seats five, with generous space in the front and rear seats. In spite of its rugged appearance, Endeavor is built more like a car than a truck. Mitsubishi has simplified the Endeavor lineup, leaving only two trim levels: LS and Limited. Each is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. All are powered by a 3.8-liter V6 making 225 horsepower mounted transversely and mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with Sportronic manual shifting capability. Safety features include dual-stage frontal airbags and front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, traction control, and a tire-pressure monitor. For 2006, the Mitsubishi Endeavor has been moderately facelifted. ABS with traction control is now standard; the standard towing capacity has been increased to 3500 pounds; and all Endeavor sound systems now include MP3 capability.
