Ever wonder why a 1960s- era Porsche looks the same as a 1990s-era Porsche looks the same as a 2005 Porsche? Because the look still sells, that's why. BMW's MINI brand is taking a page out of Porsche's book (and its own, for that matter), and has vowed that its exterior look will be eternally unchanging. Kay Segler, MINI's VP of brand management, told Automotive News that major changes are in store for the interior of the vehicle, but that messing with the exterior design just isn't in the cards because the current design is just too iconic and popular.
