Mercury Vehicles
Now defunct, for a time, Mercury was a sportier (or mid-priced) cousin to Ford's product line. Along the way, some famous Mercury cars left an indelible mark on their eras: the Comet, the Cougar and even the European-designed Capri. In the end, other than a few unique vehicles such as the 1999-2002 Cougar, most were rebadged Ford products or were co-developed with other manufacturers, like the Villager and its Nissan Quest sibling. The brand was shuttered in 2010 after falling sales.
