Overview
The e-tron is the first fully electric production model from Audi and it's a five-passenger mid-size SUV. The e-tron is powered by two electric motors, one mounted at each axle, giving it electric quattro for driving in all conditions. The two motors are fed by a 396-volt lithium ion battery with a capacity of 95 kWh. Audi?s standard home charging system can be used with either a 230 volt household outlet or a 400 volt three-phase outlet. The optional connect charging system doubles the charging power to as much as 22kW. Technology is in abundance with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which manages navigation, entertainment and ride dynamics. The smartphone interface lets users access their phones to connect to apps, music, maps, messages and more. Amazon Alexa is also offered. Standard safety equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, an active lane departure warning system, blind spot warning, forward collision mitigation, rear collision warning, a pedestrian detection system, and a traffic sign information system. The Audi e-tron carries over with minimal changes for 2021, however a new sport utility version was added to the lineup.
