Overview

The Cruze is Chevrolet's best-selling global car, offered in both roomy sedan and sporty hatchback body styles. The Cruze is available in four trim levels; L, LS, LT and Premier. Power is supplied by either a 153-hp 1.4-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, or a 137-hp 1.6-liter turbo diesel four-cylinder with stop/start technology that enhances fuel-efficiency. Gas engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission while diesel's use a nine-speed automatic transmission. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: 17-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps, LED daytime running lights, passive entry/start, heated front seats, leatherette upholstery, air conditioning, cruise control and satellite radio. Every Cruze stays connected with a Chevrolet MyLink radio, featuring a 7-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth streaming audio, 4G LTE hotspot capability, and smartphone integration. Standard safety features include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, stability/traction control systems, OnStar, Teen Driver Mode and a rearview camera, as well as ten airbags; other available technologies include Forward Collision Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist, and Side Blind Zone Alert. The Chevrolet Cruze drops the manual transmission and adds an L trim to the hatchback for 2019.
