Alfa Romeo is actually one of the oldest automakers still in operation, founded in 1910. The company always has had a very strong motorsports presence, which has influenced its generally sporty and high-performance road-going vehicles. Alfa Romeo was absent from the U.S. market for 13 years before launching the very-limited-production 8C coupe. This was followed by the small 4C sports car with its advanced carbon-fiber chassis and mid-engine layout. Currently, the Alfa Romeo lineup includes the 4C, the Giulia sedan and the Stelvio crossover.
