A Renault exec indicates the French brand is hard at work on yet another revival of Alpine. A lightweight, two-seat sports car could be ready as soon as 2016, and a whole lineup of vehicles is planned, including a hybrid.

Long living in the shadow of Lotus, British automaker Caterham is keen to make it on its own – though maybe not all on its own. Renault has been busy having a little fun with the company's new A110-50 Concept. The automaker recently invited former rally driver Jean Ragnotti to take the futuristic machine for spin. Renault has officially released details on its Alpine A110-50 Concept.
