I hope you are reading these comments. I really like this truck! Much better than the Gladiator I saw at this winter's auto show. I like the straight-forward, rugged styling. The plain steel wheels with 32"(?) tires are fine; plenty tall enough for me. The retro "4 wheel drive" tailgate decal is subtle but appreciated. I'm interested in the truck just as shown here, and I would be tempted even more if I could buy this truck with a slightly longer bed (yes, at the expense of additional rear overhang, with rollover protecton (either bed-mounted or in the cab), a more suitable spare tire mounting location and a place to mount a HighLift jack, and trailer-ready (say up to 4000 lb trailer). I've owned 3 Jeeps with the 4.0 L, including my current '04 Unlimited; with almost 400K's experience with this engine, I am sentimental about it, but behind the wheel and at the gas pump, it feels like time for an upgrade. I'd vote for a small V8 or a DIESEL for the truck! Thanks for airing these "spy photos". I hope I can buy the pickup truck sometime soon; it would definitely be my next Jeep.
