Ford has allegedly priced the 2016 Mustang GT350 and GT350R quite aggressively, undercutting rivals from the BMW M4 to the Chevy Camaro Z/28.

A leaked report has given us a glimpse at the price of optional goodies on both the new Ford GT350 and GT350R Mustangs.

According to a pair of reports from Hearst's car mags, Car and Driver and Road & Track, Ford has a whole mess of good stuff on deck for the Detroit Auto Show in January. And it all sounds awesome.

If there's one thing you can count on, it's that the renewed rivalry between the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro will never, ever cease. For every version of Ford's pony car, there's an equally potent Chevrolet. And so with the debut of the Camaro Z/28 earlier this year, Ford has responded with a track-focused 'Stang of its own, resurrecting the Shelby GT350 name.

Ford promises more than 500 horsepower and a torque peak above 400 lb-ft.
