I have a ton of seat time behind and AP1 S2000, but that engine is most def not comparable to this one. Let's see that engine perform wheel with an AWD system and a significant additional weight of that equipment. The s2000 is gutless unless you rev the piss out of it and that just doesn't work for most consumers.
Most HP per Liter doesn't mean anything when it consumes as much fuel as any other engine with the same HP. Honda has already stopped using their "Most HP per Liter" phrase as a selling point for their cars, so you should too.
I had a s2000 before I went to my A4 2.0T. The FSI 2.0 has 237hp 270 ft/lb torque after its been chipped with APR. The s2000, 240hp 170 ft/lbs torque.
I like the FSI alot more, just as much hp, waaay more torque, and more fuel efficient (28mpg on highway, vs 24mpg for the s2k)
BUT, overall i still think the the s2k is alot more fun to DRIVE. tight handling, great clutch, stick shift. The audi is a better daily driver/commuter.

at least provide your readers with technical drawings of the workings of the engines; a truly half-assed editorial.
