Porsche has released official pricing for its entire lineup of 2013 models, which just happens to include the upcoming 918 Spyder hybrid supercar. The 795-horsepower advanced-technology-lab-on-wheels is now officially confirmed to have a starting price of $845,000 in the US, which is the exact amount we were told earlier when we had the opportunity to ride shotgun in some 918 Spyder pre-production test vehicles.

The gents on the Rennteam forum have come upon unofficial pricing for the Porsche 918 Spyder. By now, in view of the prices of barrier-crushing, hybrid exotics and since we've already talked about Porsche considering a mid-engined supercar priced between the 911 and the 918, the 768,026 euro ($997,585 US) price to join the 918 Spyder club shouldn't be all that surprising.

Like our man Michael Harley, Chris Harris recently got a chance to ride shotgun in the Porsche 918 Spyder, and he brought along a few cameras to share the experience with the rest of us. While Harris admits to being averse to producing videos where he's only riding around in the passenger seat, he seems to be no less taken with the technological marvels on display in the newest Porsche hypercar.
