Toyota represents the cornerstone of affordable motoring. Excellent value, great fuel economy and solid reliability are what define the most popular Toyota models. It has a wide range of vehicles, covering segments all the way from compact hatchbacks to full-size trucks and SUVs, and of these, the Toyota Sequoia sits at the top of the pile.

The lowest trim costs over three times as much as a base Corolla, this full-size three-row SUV is geared to a Toyota customer that wants to pair that class-leading reliability and economy with as much luxury, space and in-car tech as possible.

We looked into what the Sequoia offers for 2027, and just how much you can pay for one once all the options have been ticked.

The 2027 Toyota Sequoia

Model Years: 2023-present

Rivals: Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Expedition, Jeep Wagoneer

The Sequoia serves as the brand’s flagship model and combines an old-school rugged body-on-frame design with modern tech and turbocharged hybrid power and efficiency.

Slotting in above the Grand Highlander and 4Runner, its premium pricing makes it a lower volume seller than other Toyota models. It is still targeted at families, albeit ones with above average incomes, and it especially suits those who require heavy-duty towing capability, off-road capabilities and a luxurious three-row experience all in one vehicle.

Optional Extras

Optional extras vary between trim levels, and may be unavailable on lower trims, bundled into packages, or fitted as standard on top trims. Below are some of the priciest on offer:

DescriptionPrice
TRD Off-Road Package (4×4 only)$2,225-$2,690
Power Running Boards$1,005
TRD Roof Rack$1,395
TRD Performance Package$2,299
Captain’s Chairs$1,080
Trailhunter Package$3,500
Basecamp Package$5,463

Lower trims like the SR5 and Limited can be upgraded with several options, but many of the best features are reserved for the top variants like the Capstone.

While many of the optional features on lower trims are standard on the Capstone, you can still add extras like the TRD Performance Package, Front Skid Plate, and Roof Rack, or combine these and more into the comprehensive Basecamp Package.

There are dozens of tech and convenience add-ons on offer as well, but even if you stick to the purely functional Toyota-specific extras like the wireless trailer camera system, integrated dashcam and floor mats, the total (including destination charges but not state taxes) comes in at over $100,000. $102,130.

Fully Specced 2027 Sequoia Capstone Pricing

Base MSRP (Capstone)$87,900
Selected Options & Accessories$12,035
Delivery, Processing & Handling Fee$2,195
Estimated Sales Tax (7% national average)$6,600
Estimated Title, License & Registration$350
Estimated Dealer Documentation Fee$450
Total Estimated Out-The-Door Cost$109,530

The grand total of $109,530 could be pushed a little further north with some additional camping, lighting and pet product accessories, but we doubt that even the most avid Toyota fans would be keen on spending over $110k on their 2027 Sequoia. That equates to four Corollas and change.

Bringing things slightly closer to reality, the smart choice in the Sequoia range would be a model like the $77,695 Limited. It is already decently specced, and you can add the TRD Off-road package if your weekends involve trips up mountainsides and still come in at just over $80,000 all-in.

Whichever trim suits your needs, the Sequoia remains a solid choice in the full-size SUV segment while still delivering on the core traits that define Toyota products across the board, just don’t go mad with the options list.
