Spy Shots: Next Alfa Romeo Milano spotted

One of the Alfa Romeos the U.S. buying public got to know (and largely ignore) was the Milano. Back then, the Milano was a wedgy, compact sedan with a proper trunk. Instead, it’s expected to adorn a compact, five-door hatch that shares a platform with the Fiat Bravo and Lancia Delta.

Alfa’s various T-jet and Multijet engines will power the little guy and the front wheels will pull it, although all-wheel-drive is expected to join the options list. The Milano is said to bow in Europe in about a year, with a possible American introduction a year after that, in 2011.
