Juggling golf balls to build a better Camry

Toyota has doubled the size of its Georgetown, Kentucky plant to include a training center with unique hand-eye coordination activities, including juggling golf balls, shooting mirrors with squirtguns, and twisting a rope around wooden pegs. Sounds like fun to us. More directly applicable learning activities include how to attach nuts and bolts or feel a door panel for defects unseen by the naked eye.

With the new training center, Toyota says it hopes to grow into a better
company, not simply just grow. The training center is part of Toyota’s attempt to standardize the training its
employees receive across the globe.
