Everyone loves crash test ratings. Unless of course you’re an
automaker and your latest vehicle gets dinged for poor performance. GM’s new line of sibling minivans including the
Saturn Relay and Buick Terraza all received “good” ratings in a recent round of testing. This should help GM’s image
since their previous group of minivans received “poor” ratings. To make things even sweeter for GM, the Chevrolet
Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups also received a “good” rating but didn’t make the “Best pick” award. That went to the
Toyota Tacoma. To clarify, good, is the top rating the insurance industry hands out. Oh the new Honda Odyssey, Ford
Freestar, Mercury Monterey and Toyota Sienna minivans also got the top crash rating.
