Dodge’s factory in Saltillo, Mexico got a visit from Chrysler’s future president, Tom LaSorda.
After his arrival, LaSorda promptly drove a new Ram Mega Cab through a false brick wall. LaSorda was joined by Mexican
officials Thursday as Dodge begins production of their new Ram truck variant. The Mega Cab is an extended version of
the Ram, extended beyond their traditional crew cab. We were always disastisfied by the Dodge Ram Crew Cab. If we took
our crew in the current four door, they’d be very unhappy. The rear seat back in the current vehicle is very upright,
and legroom is very scarce. This is especially true considering the competition from Ford, GM, Nissan, and Toyota. The
Mega Cab will address these concerns by providing a significantly roomier interior, with more leg room and 7 cubic feet
of storage available behind the seat. Seems like a good way to keep your crew happy.
