2021 MINI Hardtop
The MINI Hardtop provides the driving enthusiast with a unique combination of fun-to-drive performance, engineering and unconventional attitude. The Hardtop is available in two or four door bodies with three different trims: the Cooper with a direct-injection turbocharged 134-hp 1.5-liter inline three-cylinder engine, the Cooper S with a direct-injection, 189-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and available only in the two-door body, the John Cooper Works with a 220-hp version of the 2.0-liter. All engines are mated to either a seven-speed dual-clutch or 8-speed automatic transmission and are equipped with auto stop-start to maximize fuel savings. Standard safety equipment includes eight airbags, run-flat tires, rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, electronic traction and stability control and anti-lock brakes. A wide variety of interior trim materials and colors are available, as well as features such as adaptive LED headlights, LED foglights, panoramic sunroof, sport suspension, Dynamic Damper Control, navigation system, head-up display, harman/kardon audio, front and rear parking sensors, and satellite radio. For 2021, the MINI remains mostly unchanged, except for the arrival of the highly anticipated manual transmission variant.
