Ken Block Gymkhana 3 Fiesta – Click above for high-res image gallery

Ken Block isn't a World Rally Championship legend by any stretch, but thanks to his immensely entertaining Gymkhana videos, the glorified shoemaker can definitely lay claim to the title of YouTube Legend. And with Ford working the Internets hard during the launches of its new products like the Fiesta and Explorer, it made total sense that Ford would want to partner with the new media star.

The duo of Fiesta and Ken Block is less than a year old, but already there are some rumblings that Block edition Fiesta could be in the works. How about a DC Shoes edition Fiesta? In a recent radio interview with KROQ, Block was asked if there was a KB Fiesta on the way, and he responded with "we're discussing those types of things but there's nothing set in stone at this point." Block went on to add that for now, he wants to concentrate on racing and developing new competition cars.

So, no definitive news on the Ken Block edition Fiesta front, but the two parties are at least thinking about a special model. We can't see how this is a bad idea, considering that 30 million potential car buyers waiting patiently for Gymkhana 3 – we couldn't think of a better way to announce a special edition Fiesta than by starring in another Block-buster internet flick (sorry, we couldn't resist). Head over to the KROQ website to listen to the interview. Hat tip to Joe B!

Please put the 1.6L Ecoboost in it so all I have to do is remove all the inevitable stupid graphics and have a nice little hot hatch.

I'd definitely check out a KB edition Fiesta if it had AWD and a widebody kit...

Just please don't make it fanboyish with giant cheesy decals and ridiculous badging...that would turn me off.

AGREED! These "Special Edition" cars tend to get a little lack luster.

Would you have to dress like a tool (lame cap with brim pushed up, oversized white sunglasses, and clothing by DC) to drive such a car?

What, to celebrate every time he has crashed or gotten a bad result? Well, I guess theres that one one win, Rally in the 100 Acre Wood...

As long as it's more than just a sticker package, it will be all good.

How about an AWD version, and turbocharged? Beefed up suspension, etc. Then the promotional video of Block using the thing for Gymkhana 3 would create exponential amounts of media hype.

hopefully this is further confirmation that there's a Fiesta Ecoboost headed our way, C&D caught spy shots of one being tested in Dearborn a few months back, looked awesome.

      Woo Hat tip. :)

I'd like a widebody kit and the suspension mods to go with that, 1.6 Turbo, and AWD if I can get it. Hopefully they would do graphics like the Raptor. Options.

I hope that it isn't a graphics package because this car deserves better. Yesterday I had the chance to drive an SE Hatch and was really impressed with it. It didn't drive like a little econobox, was quiet, had a good ride and decent equipment (Winter and Sport Packages) on it for $17K.

The car had a fully adjustable manual seat, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, cruise, alloy wheels, power windows and locks, heated seats and a respectable sounding stereo. I didn't find to be all that small either but I wouldn't want to go any smaller. All in all I found it to be a good value.

Hope it is more than a sticker and embroidery job.

Widebody kit, Ecoboost and 4 wheel drive if possible then call it a day Ford. Ok fine fine.. optional graphic's and optional neon green wheels because you know some people will want them.

Kinda love how some hate on Block without realizing that Ford if anything is using him as a PR tool (no pun I mean it lol). Him being in WWC again is a PR move to expose him to a wider audience and in turn the Fiesta. Its a win-win really. Ford gets some great PR and Block gets to play around in the biggest stage there is for Rallying.
