Click above for high-res image gallery of the Porsche Panamera

Nearly two dozen more photos of the Porsche Panamera have emerged following the first official pics that arrived late last week. The latest images show a rear-wheel-drive, 400-hp 4.8-liter Panamera S (in graphite), an all-wheel-drive Panamera 4S with optional PCCB ceramic brakes (in blue) and the 500-hp Panamera Turbo (in silver). We'll assume the Panamera Turbo, like the current 911 Turbo, will also be fitted with permanent AWD. The adaptive HID headlights, LED tail lamps and four bucket seats are also clearly visible in the photography. We are also catching glimpses of an optional roof rack, fitted luggage and the Turbo's trick rear spoiler. It appears that the floodgates have apparently opened on the Porsche Panamera -- of course, we'll keep adding images to our gallery as they arrive.

I still think they could have done a better job with the roofline.

im so disappointed in porsche! and look at that crummy little sunroof, they should have designed some nifty full glass roof.

I just don't see anything innovative to this car at all. it just screams "we-made-it-because-the-marketing-people-said-we-had-to."

more like " we made it because the accountants said we have to "

I really want to like this. One thing that's bothering me, why on the rear, is Porsche spelled out instead of having a Porsche crest in the middle.

Mercedes doesnt spell out their name on the CLS. A simply emblem looks much better.

Apparently Porsche has a special type of polish...

Yikes, Peter DeLorenzo at The Autoextremist rips Porsche a new one about the Panamera, and I have to agree:

"Porsche. Publisher's Note: From the 'Just Another Car Company' File comes word that the Porsche Panamera has now been officially unwrapped, and the result isn't pretty. As a matter of fact the photos reveal the most egregious design 'statement' to come along in oh, the last 25 years at least. Boasting all the elegance of a stretched AMC Pacer, the Porsche Panamera is hideous from every angle, despite the best efforts of Porsche to conceal the obvious in the press photos. Did anyone expect anything less? We all knew that the early design sketch they teased us with bore little resemblance to the actual car, especially when the early prototypes were caught running around in the obligatory spy shots. It can't really be that bad we all thought to ourselves. Oh, but it is. And then some. I've been down this road about Porsche many, many times before on this website. Once they sold their soul to the SUV Devil in the guise of the Cayenne, there was simply no turning back. Porsche's 'Four, uncompromised' marketing schtick doesn't fool anyone, either. The Panamera is a butt-ugly four-door sedan designed to lighten the wallets of fools with too much money and too little common sense. What a joke. - PMD"

      Ouch.

They can keep throwing new pics at me, but it won't help me change my mind

BTW I'm a huge Porsche lover, but not this one.

Why make a new design? They coulda just stretched a 911.

The front of that car is so nice looking but that rear is so ugly. I like spaghetti but it's got crap on it.

      It's a Vomit-rocket! Even sitting still.

I think some people will complain just for the sake of complaining. There have been some ugly designs recently, but this looks really sharp and elegant. One of the nicer new designs I have seen this year.

Impreza or Smiley Mazda 3 are lame, this is a work of art in comparison.

It looks fine until the rear 1/3 of the car and then it gets awkward and ugly. I notice most of the pictures do not show the rear so I think they know it is not the most flattering part of the car. I have seen some new Acura TLs on the road--so this will sell since there is no accounting for taste.

it is definitely growing on me, but the expanding rear spoiler on pic 26 looks ugly.
