Lawsuits tack on $500 to the cost of every car

Speaking of lawsuits, Chrysler boss Tom LaSorda said yesterday that lawsuits are responsible for an extra $500 in costs for every car and truck sold in the United States. According to LaSorda, there is potential testimony, like whether or not the victims were wearing a seat belt, that isn’t heard by jurors because prosecutors are able to convince the judge to exclude the testimony.
