Iacocca and Steve Case join Flexcar

You’re probably asking yourself “Who is Steve Case and what is Flexcar?” Steve Case is the co-founder of America Online andFlexcar is a car-sharing service much like Zipcar. Both Iacocca and Case are joining the fledgling company’s board and investing an undisclosed amount that will allow Flexcar to double its current fleet of 450 cars and expand into as many as five new cities. Currently Flexcar offers Honda Civic Hybrids, Mazda Miatas, Honda Elements and a few other models to its members, who pay an annual fee of $40 and between $7 and $10 per hour to use a vehicle.
