Automakers have feelings too, donate million plus to Charley victims

Surprisingly Toyota led the pack with $1 million to the Red Cross and other organizations involved in the recovery from Hurricane Charley. GM’s GM Foundation donated $100,000 in cash, three Hummer H2s and five generator equipped Silverado hybrid pick-ups to the cause. Ford trails far behind with $50,000 in cash and get this a $750 cash rebate on top of their regular incentives to those living in counties hit by Charley.
