This bowtie big boy is powerful, spacious, and tough

The Chevrolet Tahoe has been a stalwart member of the full-size SUV segment since the 1990s. Known for its spacious cabin, rugged capability, and commanding presence, the Tahoe has been a go-to choice for big families, road-trippers, and anyone needing serious cargo and towing capacity. As a body-on-frame SUV that slots above the midsize unibody Traverse, the Tahoe competes with other heavy hitters such as the Ford Expedition, GMC Yukon, and Toyota Sequoia.

The Tahoe LT 4WD comes standard with a 5.3-liter V8 engine producing 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, paired with a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission. Properly equipped, the Tahoe can tow up to 8,400 pounds, making it ideal for trailers, boats, or small campers. Fuel economy for the 5.3-liter V8 4WD is rated at 15 mpg city, 20 mpg highway, and 17 mpg combined. While not as efficient as smaller SUVs, the Tahoe makes up for it with size, utility, and power. The best news? Chevrolet is offering a strong lease deal for it this month.
