Michelle Nati
I was a car fanatic as a kid who grew up around muscle cars and a dad who, at one point, owned an auto body shop and brought classic after classic home for years. My first car was not, however, of the same stripe—I inherited a Ford Escort, which did its job in getting me to college and back. Later, after moving to Los Angeles, I purchased my own classic in a 1972 Ford Mustang fastback. I started writing about the unusual aspects of car culture for a company called Oddee, then worked for Donut Media as a scriptwriter for auto content on YouTube. I’ve also written for USA Today, Leaf Group, Ranker, Granite Media, Complex and Time Out.
