We wanted to make sure everyone had the latest Autoblog Podcast to listen to while travelling to Grandma's house for
Thanksgiving dinner, so here we are with episode #48. We begin the podcast discussing the impact of
Ford
delaying the delivery of the Edge and Lincoln MKX crossovers, which leads us to speculate on what the automaker will be showing its employees and retirees at a
special sneak preview of its future lineup at the end of the month. There were also a few significant leaks from the automakers ahead of the upcoming
auto show season, with the
Jeep Trailhawk, Chrysler Nassau and
Chevy Malibu all showing up on the internet ahead of taking their spots on the turntable at the L.A. and
Detroit auto shows. One piece of news that seemed to resonate with readers this week was the realization that potentially half of
OnStar's current subscriber base could see their service
turned off in 2008 thanks to an FCC ruling made way back in 2002. We discuss that topic and finish up by gushing over the
Giugiaro Mustang concept that was caught filling up at an Italian
gas station last week. All good stuff, so enjoy the show and don't eat too much turkey this week.
