Turns out that Car and Driver was wrong about Kia's upcoming rear-wheel-drive concept for Frankfurt being called the Veredus. The pulp and ink mag itself stumbled upon a bevy of newly leaked images showing Kia's four-door coupe concept, and lo and behold, one of them reveals what this car will actually be called: GT.

Car and Driver is reporting that the new rear-wheel-drive sports sedan concept from Kia may be called the Veredus. The vehicle is set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, though the company has been mum on the project's name so far. Kia filed for a patent on the Veredus name not too long ago, and, as Car and Driver points out, the concept is the only vehicle in the company's short-term product plan without a name. Recently, Kia officials let it slip that the Korean automaker would be debuting some sort of "coupe-like" rear-wheel-drive concept at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, and just a few days later, we now have our first glimpse at that very car. The unnamed concept stands true to everything we were told earlier: it has rear-wheel drive, is a swoopy four-door "coupe," and looks like it will slot in between the Hyundai Genesis and Equus in terms of size.
