Chevy’s hopes to re-enter and succeed in the tough compact car market with it’s new Cobalt. The sedan and coupe are
better looking than the car they follow, the aging Cavalier, but can they really compete with the likes of the stellar
Mazda 3, the current Ford Focus and rapidly improving entries from Kia and Hyundai? Lori Queen, head of GM’s small cars
division sure thinks so. Until we see real world pricing and drive one, we’re not too sure where the Cobalt will fare
against the tough competition. So far the styling has us unimpressed. Although we’ll definitely line-up for a ride in
the Supercharged SS coupe.
