To further infuriate Americans that won’t see a GTI in the near future the car is already garnering accolades from
the folks with access to the fifth generation machine. Not only that but unlike other car magazines BBC Top Gear
actually had a posh ceremony for the award. Nice. Now if only the Germans could manage to bring cars to U.S. shores
within a year or so of their sale in Europe…
