Reuters
is reporting that Porsche will ask its shareholders to change the corporate statutes to allow foreign
acquisitions.
The proposal is described in the company’s invitation to shareholders for its annual meeting January 27, and would
open the door for Porsche to acquire full or partial ownership of companies outside Germany.
Reuters reports the company as denying that it has any specific foreign projects in mind.
