Next Sebring drop-top is a go

We really didn’t believe that Chrysler would drop the best selling convertible in the U.S. when they discontinued the Sebring and Stratus coupes. The Sebring convertible is built at a different plant (the coupes shared space with Mitsubishi) and shares very little visually with the coupes. One of the best sources to predict an automaker’s future is a supplier deal. Karmann USA Inc. has won the contract to supply the convertible top for the next-gen Sebring, confirming the car’s place in Chrysler showrooms. Karmann is also supplying the folding hardtop for the Pontiac G6 convertible.
