Mitsubishi offers to buy your gas

In an apparent effort to clear its inventory, Mitsubishi Motors North America announced Wednesday a new incentive program for buyers of a new 2005 model-year Galant, Endeavor (pictured), Montero, Outlander, Eclipse or Lancer. The auto maker will buy your gas for a year (actually, 12,000 miles at the EPA combined rating for your vehicle). Customers will receive a pre-paid debit card valued between $1,500 and $2,500. The program is called “Gas Comes Standard” and runs from Friday through the end of October.
