Mitsubishi Fuso has been digging itself out of a defect cover-up scandal dating back to 2000, when the company
admitted that it had systematically hidden defects for more than 20 years to avoid recalls. Two traffic deaths have
been blamed on defective Misubishi Fuso trucks.
