At least that’s what
USA Today’s James R. Healey
says in his opening to today’s GS review. He points to the big power differences between the M and GS, with the M
having 35 more horsepower in each variation over the GS. That’s a big hp divide. Healey says those numbers are even
worse with real-world driving. I’m glad the review is laid out this way and he even mentions the Toyota Avalon’s more
powerful V6. In the end the GS lacks personality and power. Not a good combination but that usually doesn’t prevent
Lexus sales as long as the car is competent.
