Ford's going the distance

Ford Motor Co. is paying millions to get their name on the toughest race on sea and land. The multi-million dollar deal will rename all eight U.S. Ironman events to “Ford Ironman Triathalon.” Ford will also boost the purse for the race in Hawaii by $100,000 to a total of $580,000 just in case you were thinking about racing. The last Ironman sponsor was Gatorade from 1990-95. If we could get one of those Aquada cars entered, we’d kick all your butts.
