Ford brings back the 0

Zero percent interest financing is the name of the game for Ford Motor Company’s plan to sell more of its trucks and SUVs. Ford announced Wednesday that it was offering customers interest free loans for six years in order to move out its 2005 inventory of trucks and SUVs. According to Reuters sales of most trucks fell more than 50 percent in September, compared to a year earlier. Obviously, concerns over rising fuel prices have led consumers away from thirstier vehicles. The savings offered by the no-interest financing may have appeal to consumers who require a more traditional truck or SUV. According to Ford, the savings add up to about a full tank of gas per month.
