Fit concerns may delay Solstice

Winter is not the best time to release a new rear-wheel drive convertible, but GM may be doing just that with the Solstice. GM said fit problems with the front bumper and top slowed the Solstice production ramp up. While we can’t wait to get our hands on the Solstice, we’d rather GM get it right the first time. The Chevy Cobalt coupe was delayed a few months due to a poor rear quarter panel/ trunk fit. Instead of sending the vehicles out to the public with the fit problems, they are fixing them before they are released, which is a good thing for GM. But why does it have to be the Solstice? Come-on!
