This morning I directed you to a story about the first
Cadillac/Corvette dealership to open in Europe. Now word is that Caddy may use high-performance diesels from BMW
and may also borrow from Fiat. The only way that GM will be successful in Europe with a purely American brand is to 1.
Offer a wide range of diesels and 2. Prepare a smaller than CTS premium car to be sold in Europe only. As it seems both
are in the works (the latter will be built off the Epsilon platform under the SABB 9-3) and GM may be finally serious
about competing with Cadillac in Europe.
