To a certain class of grizzled masochists, every season is camping season, from triple-digit summers to subzero winters. For the rest of us, fall is the best time to get outside — not too wet, cool enough to enjoy a campfire but not freeze trying to sleep, and unbeatable, foliage-wise. Of course, a good tent is a necessity no matter when you camp, and right now Amazon has a big discount on a spacious model from a proven brand.
The Coleman Skydome 4-Person Tent is just $85 right now, 43% off its normal $150 asking price. That deal is good on the evergreen color, but Amazon also has sizable discounts on three other colors and 2-, 6- and 8-person sizes, so there’s almost certainly a discounted tent for your needs and preferences no matter what they are.

Pre-attached poles mean it takes just five minutes to set up this tent, which has been tested to withstand winds up to 35 mph. It has nearly vertical walls that offer 20% more headroom than traditional Coleman dome tents, a wider door that makes it easier to move gear in and out, and a gear loft and mesh storage pockets to stay organized. Welded corners, inverted seams, and an included rainfly help keep water from getting in.
After noting that this set offers “easy set-up and breakdown,” one reviewer praised its performance in bad weather. “I was camping and caught in heavy rains,” they wrote, and this tent was the only one that stayed dry inside. “I was not in a high spot and had some puddling around and under the tent, so I was very pleased with its performance.”
Another customer wrote that “the tent feels sturdy and well-made with plenty of space inside.” As first time campers, “we feel so much more confident heading into our trip knowing we have a reliable, easy-to-use tent.”
The Coleman Skydome 4-Person Tent is an affordable, reliable tent that’s great for amateur and experienced campers alike. The chance to get one for nearly half off on the cusp of the best camping season of the year is one you won’t want to miss, so start shopping soon for the best selection and enjoy all the fresh air this autumn.
