Overview
The 2025 Genesis GV60 compact luxury electric SUV is based on the E-GMP platform shared with Hyundai and Kia products. It utilizes a 77.4-kWh battery to achieve a maximum range of 294 miles. The 800-volt architecture allows the vehicle to charge from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes when connected to a 350-kW DC fast charger. Buyers select between rear-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations, with the most potent setup producing 483 horsepower. This model competes in the crowded segment occupied by the Tesla Model Y, BMW iX, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Cadillac Lyriq, and Audi Q4 e-tron.

What’s New for 2025
Genesis now offers the GV60 Standard trim with an all-wheel-drive, dual-motor powertrain for the first time, broadening the appeal of the entry-level configuration. Genesis Connected Services are also standard on every vehicle, providing robust remote access and security features.
A sophisticated new Capri Blue exterior paint option (below) joins the color palette for the 2025 model year. Additionally, units are beginning to arrive with the NACS charging port, enabling direct compatibility with the Tesla Supercharger network for easier long-distance travel.

Exterior
The 2025 GV60 features a clamshell hood that minimizes panel gaps for a smooth, cohesive appearance, alongside signature split headlights and a bold, Guilloché-patterned Genesis crest. A coupe-like roofline flows gracefully toward an integrated rear spoiler, giving the vehicle a sporty profile.
The car includes 19-inch wheels as standard, while the Advanced trim uses 20-inch wheels and the Performance trim receives 21-inch wheels for a more aggressive stance. A panoramic fixed glass roof comes standard, contributing to an airy cabin environment. The overall design language remains compact, muscular, and sleek, setting it apart from traditional SUV aesthetics.

Interior
Dual 12.3-inch screens for the instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment are standard, supporting wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A signature Crystal Sphere gear selector rotates to reveal the shifter upon vehicle startup. Owners also benefit from standard fingerprint and facial recognition technology.
The Standard trim provides synthetic leather seating surfaces and heated front seats. The Advanced trim upgrades the experience with genuine leather, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, active noise control, and a 17-speaker Bang and Olufsen audio system. The Performance trim completes the lineup with Nappa leather, heated rear seats, and a microfiber suede headliner.
