The family car of the future is here
There’s no mistaking the new three-row 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 9 for anything else on the road, electric or gas. It’s the brand’s newest electrified SUV, based on the gas-only Palisade and a cousin to the popular Kia EV9. The IONIQ 9 can seat up to seven occupants in true luxury, with ample space available. The IONIQ 9’s styling is a combination of elegance and minimalism, and everything looks and feels premium. The luxurious atmosphere is never overdone, and the 335-mile all-electric range for the rear-wheel drive version dispels any anxiety and provides charge-free driving all week long.

The IONIQ 9 leads with a stunning LED light bar in the front and vertical LED strips for the taillights. It also gets noticeable fender arches and flush door handles. The thoroughly modern interior is airy and open with clean lines, a huge singleframe infotainment and instrumentation display, and much-appreciated physical controls. Competitors in the three-row electric SUV segment are the Kia EV9, Rivian R1S, Tesla Model X, Cadillac Vistiq, and Volvo EX90. The IONIQ 9’s lease deal for September makes it even easier to choose between all of those.
