looks pretty much like we expected, though we're fast becoming of the mind that if you've seen one SUV-shaped
, you've seen them all. The
will benefit from a standard 3.8-liter V6 probably putting out at least 263 horsepower like in the
, though probably tuned a bit for more low end torque. The ute's also large enough for a Hideaway third-row seat, though don't expect to be too comfortable back there or have a decent view out thanks to those large D-pillars. All-wheel drive will also be standard, and since it is a Hyundai the Veracruz will come stocked with electronic stability control, side
, and side-curtain
for all three rows. Pricing will be important, as the Hyundai Veracruz will stack up well against the Lambda trio of large CUVs from
in terms of content, but will likely be priced closer to the
, which lacks a third-row of seating.
